Copywriting

What’s the difference between a junior and a senior copywriter?

At WeWrite, junior and senior copywriters bring different levels of experience and specialisation. Senior writers often handle complex brand work, like creative campaigns or nuanced tone-of-voice pieces. Junior writers may focus on CRM emails, social posts or product descriptions—with every project matched to the best-fit writer for your brief.

Do you offer copywriting services in all languages?

We currently provide expert copywriting in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Dutch – and we’re continually expanding our language teams. If you need content in another language, just ask!

What’s the difference between copywriting and content writing?

Copywriting aims to persuade, convert or inspire – think newsletters, brand claims or product descriptions. Content is more informational or engagement-focused, such as blog posts or social media articles. At WeWrite, we do both – always aligned with your brand voice and goals.

What if I'm not happy with the copy I receive?

No problem. First drafts are just the beginning. If something doesn’t land, we revisit the brief and work closely with you to refine the tone, structure, or messaging – until it’s just right.

Content

Is your content SEO-optimised?

Absolutely. Whether your goal is keyword ranking or customer engagement, we tailor content to match. Share your keywords and SEO goals with us – we’ll write with both search engines, AI queries, and your audience in mind.

Is your copy written by humans or AI?

Unless specified, all of our copy, content, and marketing translations are written by real people. While AI tools may support early drafts or research, every final word is reviewed and refined by expert human writers. We also have AI workflows with start-up friendly budgets that combine AI-generated translation with human review.

Do you offer SEO research or keywording services?

We’re not an SEO agency – but we do write with SEO in mind. If you need a deeper strategy or keyword research, we can connect you with trusted SEO specialists we regularly collaborate with.

What types of content do you write?

From brand slogans to blog articles, film synopses to social posts – we craft content for every channel and character count. Our team handles newsletters, ads, landing pages, product copy, and more – always tailored to your brand aims and tone.

Translation & Localisation

What is marketing translation?

Marketing translation focuses on adapting brand messages, campaigns, and customer-facing content – not legal contracts or technical manuals. It's about making your copy resonate with your audience in their own language, with tone, style and emotion that resonates.

How are your translators different from other translation providers?

Our translators are marketing specialists, who know the power of native-sounding translations, and have the creative confidence to edit copy that might make a translation sound clumsy, or to bring in a humorous play on words or to recreate a local, cultural reference. And because our translators are specialists working on marketing translations all day every day, they don’t have to switch styles from one to another.

What is creative translation?

Creative translation means improving a translation beyond the literal. It might involve changing syntax, rephrasing awkward passages, or adding a stylistic flourish to make the content feel native and on-brand in another language.

What is transcreation?

Transcreation involves rewriting content entirely for a new market – without sticking to the original structure. At WeWrite, we favour creative translation, as it offers flexibility – we can decide when a more literal translation works and when full transcreation is needed.

What languages do you translate into?

We specialise in major European languages – English, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Dutch – and our network is constantly expanding. Need something else? Just ask – we most likely have the right team already.

Will I have a dedicated team of translators?

Where possible, yes. We aim to assign a consistent team of translators and reviewers to each client. This ensures brand consistency and familiarity, and we brief and train them to match your tone, terminology and aims.

What’s your typical turnaround time for translations?

For short texts (up to 1,000 words), we aim for 48 hours to allow time for both translation and review. For longer texts, we estimate 2,000 words per day. Larger jobs can be split across multiple translators for faster delivery.

Can you handle urgent translation requests?

Yes. Thanks to our large network of talented translators, we can often accommodate last-minute or rush jobs—without sacrificing quality.

Do you charge extra for urgent translations?

No. Urgent translations are delivered with the same care and quality as standard ones—at no additional cost. For very short texts (under 500 words), our standard hourly rate applies. You can see our here.

What is your translation process?

Our process includes a detailed brief, translation by a native marketing expert, proofreading, and brand alignment checks. We also review in context and against your style guide and term base to ensure consistency across markets.

Can you translate content from slideshows, PDFs, HTML files or e-commerce platforms?

Yes, we can. We work with a wide range of formats—including presentations, PDFs, HTML, and content directly from your CMS or e-commerce platform. Just let us know your setup, and we’ll return your translations in the same format, ready to publish.

What’s the difference between marketing translation and website localisation?

Marketing translations focuses on persuasive content – ads, newsletters, slogans – often requiring creative flair. Website localisation, on the other hand, adapts your site for multilingual audiences, focusing on structure, consistency and user experience across languages. We offer both, with equal attention to detail.

How do you preserve brand tone and voice in translation?

We start by understanding your tone of voice through briefs, sample content and brand guidelines. Then we adapt your brand style into culturally appropriate versions without losing any of your brand's attitude.

How do you ensure consistency with brand terminology?

We create and maintain a custom term base and style guide for every client. These evolve with each project, ensuring every translator uses the same tone, terminology and phrasing—across markets, formats and channels.

What is localisation?

Localisation is the process of adapting content for a specific language and cultural market. It often happens within a translation management platform, where human or AI-generated translations are edited, reviewed, and re-integrated into websites or apps. It’s also known as L10n (Localisation) or part of G11n (Globalisation).

What is AI localisation?

AI localisation uses an MTPE (Machine Translation Post-Editing) workflow to turn raw GPT- or LLM-generated translations into content you can trust. With human linguists to review and refine your copy, making sure it reflects your brand’s tone, objectives, it's a budget-friendly option to make sure your brand continues to resonate in every market.

Do you translate legal pages like terms and conditions?

Yes. WeWrite provides full-scale website content support—including creative brand copy and compliance-focused translations like terms and conditions or cookie notices.

Do you translate mobile or web apps too?

Absolutely. We apply the same rigorous, brand-aware process to app translations—whether it’s UI elements, onboarding flows, or microcopy—so your digital products speak clearly in every language.

How does your localisation process work with a go-to-market strategy?

We build localisation into your go-to-market plan from day one. First, strategic preparation: we help define your brand voice in the target language. We collaborate closely with you to get tone, terminology, and messaging right.
Then, language execution: we flow that into every localised asset, from landing pages and CRM to SEO content and product copy. We work with you to prioritise markets, align on budget and timelines, and build workflows that support fast, scalable growth.

How do you price your new market launch packages?

Our pricing is flexible and tailored. We start by understanding your priorities – what content you need localised, how many markets you’re entering, and your timeline. From there, we build a localisation plan that matches your goals and budget, without locking you into more than you need.

Do you offer other services, such as brand strategy, performance marketing, or graphic design?

Not directly, but we do work with some really great partners who do. While WeWrite focuses on localisation, content, and language strategy, we regularly collaborate with expert teams in SEO, SEA, performance marketing, branding, and design. If you need a full-stack launch squad, we’re happy to connect you with our trusted partners.
