Localisation

"WeWrite has supported us with translations in multiple languages for several years now. Their communication has consistently been friendly, helpful and smooth. Even when it comes to last-minute projects, they have shown a strong dedication to meeting deadlines, sometimes in fact delivering the texts early. In no way has this ever affected the excellent quality of the translations we received. Thank you, Teresa & team. We look forward to continuing working with you!"

Excellence in our sites

We’ll take care of your website from start to finish. Whether it’s the content for your blog, copywriting the brand claims for your homepage, or translating the products you’re driving traffic towards.

Website localisation is an essential part of our holistic approach to translation – from navigation and CTA buttons to landing page copy and product descriptions. We’ll find the right words for your customers – all the way from inspiration and awareness to engagement and conversion.

We’ve got your back

Continuous translation

If your brand’s website is constantly evolving, and created by different teams across your organisation, we can work within your systems to make sure your translations follow hot on their heels.

Integrated systems

We can work with any filetypes from .html, .csv and .po files to documents and spreadsheets. We can even work directly in your e-commerce platform, CMS or TMS if you prefer.

Human

There are lots of ways to automate translation. But your copy can end up sounding a little bit off. Our team of living and breathing translators can check out the context of a string on the page, or make creative choices about how best to transform your ideas into words.

The emotions of e-commerce

Your products can be described in hundreds of different ways. We’re always searching for the word that connects with your consumers – whether it’s luxury or price-conscious, comforting or daring.

FAQs

What is localisation?

Localisation takes place within an online translation or localisation platform, allowing translations to be added by humans (or machines) and ported back to a website within seconds. It can also be known as L10n (Localisation) or G11n (Globalisation).

What’s the difference between marketing translation and website localisation?

All of our translators and reviewers provide creative translations for both marketing and website copy. But not all the fields on your website are the same – marketing translation may require a long, hard and creative brainstorming. While for website localisation, we might work within your e-commerce, content or translation management platform, and the focus might be on consistency over multiple languages. Our rates for both styles of translation are the same, so let’s not quibble over what we call it. (Even if that is one of our favourite things!)

What languages do you translate into?

While we specialise in European languages, our roster of languages and our teams of translators are growing all the time. Just get in contact to find out more.
