Founders' Story
WeWrite was born in 2020 during the pandemic. The world turned upside down overnight, and everyone’s lives changed, including ours. Once colleagues, always passionate linguists, and with over two decades’ experience in writing, translation and localisation between us, we decided to take the future in our own hands and found our own creative agency.
WeWrite is our passion for words. For creativity. And a desire to do things differently. We put customers, translators and writers at the centre of our business. So that we can create texts we can be proud of and our clients will love.
Since 2020, we’ve attracted some incredible companies and startups, who’ve trusted us with putting their brands into words. We’ve formed some fantastic partnerships and grown together over time.

Teresa Eriksson
Originally from Germany, Teresa has lived for many years in the USA and Barcelona, but now calls Berlin home. After starting her university studies in Munich, Teresa graduated from the Universidad de Barcelona in English and Spanish Linguistics, and pursued a career in translation and interpretation before co-founding WeWrite with Mark.
Teresa is passionate about travelling, languages, food, music and her dog. You can find her behind the microphone singing when she is not at her desk.
Mark Wilshin
Originally from London, Mark has lived in Paris, Barcelona and Bavaria, but now calls Berlin home. Graduating from the University of Manchester with a Double First BA Hons in French and German, Mark has followed careers in both captioning and inhouse website localisation before co-founding WeWrite with Teresa.
Mark is a passionate linguist, writer, traveller and filmmaker. And when he’s not at his desk, you’ll probably find him in the first row of the cinema.
